Review: MSI GeForce RTX 3090 SUPRIM X

MSI offers a super over-engineered GeForce RTX 3090 SUPRIM X edition graphics card. Tweaked to the max, huge power delivery, and a card that remains shockingly silent for a product in this enthusiast range. Well, that and of course 24 GB of the fastest GDDR6X memory your money can get you. What will beefed up 10469 shader core powered product offer you?

Can we still expect lightning or this is best as it gets?

when was the last time you heard of Lightning? I think they buried it when introducing Gaming X. Which I think was the product of that AMD/NV scuffle when Nvidia asked for different branding.
At least that's how I 'member.

There was a 2080ti lighning for a ridicilous 1600$. Jay reviewed it and it was a pretty bad overclocker (he blamed the silicon lottery)

For me personaly best design was the 780 and 290x lightning cards. From then i dont even pay attention but in my mind i always though thats the msi flagship.

Roughly on par with the strix, even if the suprim uses cheaper caps.

Thanks, it was more a badly put request in general though :)

Do custom cards have a point anymore?
The overclocking abilities of new cards are bad, so why waste the extra money?
