MSI expands mini-ITX lineup

Mini-ITX is quickly becoming the platform choice for PC builders whether it’s for personal entertainment, gaming pc's or office pc's. With the recently launched C847IS-P33, MSI now has added flexibility for those looking for the perfect adoption of computing power to a small form factor. The new C847IS-P33 is powered by an on-board dual-core Celeron 847 CPU and combined with Intel’s NM70 chipset to provide and feature-rich Windows 8 compatible platform.

With the addition of the C847IS-P33 MSI now has a great choice of mini-ITX options from entry level all the way to the high-end entertainment and gaming market:

Business:

  • C847IS-P33
  • B75IA-E33

Entertainment/Gaming:

  • E350IA-E45
  • H61I-E35 (B3)
  • FM2-A75IA-E53
  • Z77IA-E53

Mini-ITX popularity is rapidly growing and with the increased miniaturization allows for the problem-free construction of complete gaming systems based on this small form factor. MSI strives to offer the easiest  solution for by designing mainboards with design suggestions from its (Gaming-)PC assembly partners. this ensures you have the best layout of features across a mini-ITX mainboard and no problems installing silent, enthusiast level water-cooling solutions.

Not to worry, though.
Asus also makes one of these mobos --- the Asus P8Z77-I, into which it is possible to drop a Core i5 2500K for your overclocking pleasure. ;)
Probably defeats the purpose of the mini-ITX philosophy, but I don't want anyone having nightmares about our returning to glorified Speccy 48k's for gaming.
From the looks of it, it will be possible to fit a NH-D14 under the bonnet as well.
These mobos cost about £150. :)
