MSI's Z790 Raptor Lake motherboards will be revealed on September 27. Intel will have an Innovation event on the same date, but Raptor Lake details aren't specific.

MSI will introduce their first Z790 motherboards on Tuesday, September 27. The company tweets photos of motherboards to advertise "the latest generation." One photo displays "MPG Z790 Edge Wifi DDR4"

Availability should coincide with that of the 13th Generation CPUs. Although we know from previous leaks that "Raptor Lake" might be announced on September 27, there have been no leaks concerning market availability. Intel's 700-series chipset motherboards support not just 13th Gen Core "Raptor Lake," but also current 12th Gen "Alder Lake" processors; and "Raptor Lake" processors may be used with current 600-series chipset motherboards by simply changing their BIOS.
