MSI Confirms Existence of AMD TRX40 based Motherboard for Threadripper 3000 Accidentally

MSI Confirms Existence of AMD TRX40 based Motherboard for Threadripper 3000 Accidentally

We already mentioned many times that there will be new motherboards and chipsets for Threadripper. Three chipset model names have surfaced named TRX40, WRX80 and TRX80.

The platforms are targeted at a rather extensive minority of the market, workstation, developers, content creators prosumers and render farms. Earlier USB.org posted AMD 2019 Premium chipsets and there has been a recent update: Model Number: Superset, X570, TRX40, WRX80, TRX80. TRX 40 and TRX80 might be more consumer and workstation oriented with perhaps some differentiation on memory channels (4-channels /8-channels). The massive mega cores (hey 64c/128t is possible) in all likelihood is intended for the WRX80, which would be a kind of Epyc.

On its website, MSI has a promo page where you can win some stuff, and apparently MSI goofed up there, they confirmed a TRX40 motherboard called "Creator TRX40". And that certainly is a new line of products for MSI, but with that suffix, the new chipsets are now confirmed as videocardz spotted.

The entry already has been removed when I double-checked this:

I am waiting for this. Quad Channel RAM, at least 8-12 cores to start at reasonable prices to start.

Hope Asrock, Asus, Gigabyte and all the heavy hitters comes out with good quality components and a NO BLING option! Just good quality with performance.

It should even support octa channel ram and up to 64c/128t. Idk how can intel fight this.

Speak for yourself! RGB LEDs add 5% to gaming benchmarks, and stickers put on the chassis (particularly covering up those ugly fan vents) are known to give an additional 5%.

Psh... noob....
