The B450 Chipset based release has been a wild one. The board should not be out, but they are, the manufacturers should not be listing them, but they are, and the reviews may not post the reviews until later this month (which we do). In hindsight of it all, MSI just posted a teaser video with a totally weird line, hinting at more than 8 cores processor whilst this is a B450 teaser video. 

Personally, if you ask me, it's a goofup, as nothing in the pipeline, timeline projection, and prognosis indicated anything more than 8-cores on the AM4 platform. So 12, 14 or 16 cores? For that, we have SP3, aka Threadripper. The rumor was instigated by tpu, who noticed this bit specifically in the video below:

So yes, it cannot get any vaguer than that, but if you read the line correctly, it could be a hint towards more than 8-cores on AM4. Well, try to power that with your four phases B450 motherboard :)

It is an interesting and fun find, but if you ask me personally, it's just not plausible to make any real sense. Perhaps is was placed there by MSI in the hopes the video would go viral, which now, it will be.
