MSI Announces X299 MEG Creation
With 14-phases digital power and heat-pipe design, MEG X299 CREATION supports multiple cores CPU to create stable and reliable conditions while facing high loading. Triple 8-pin power connectors also ensure adequate power supply to unleash the ultimate performance, which provides the best user experiences and extreme overclocking conditions.
MSI, the world-leading motherboard manufacturer, together with the launch of Intel’s Core X-series processors, has prepared MEG X299 CREATION specifically designed for creators and prosumers to deliver maximum performances.
MEG X299 CREATION features a full control solution with 8 x PWM fan control and 1 x dedicate thermal sensor that allows designers to set up a stable and cool system. M.2 SHIELD FROZR with the Metal Shields integrated on the heatsink enlarges the thermal surface and prevents 3 x M.2 devices from throttling with maximum SSD speeds. Larger capacity and faster speed of storage is crucial for content creators. MEG X299 CREATION is designed with such consideration with up to 7 x Turbo M.2 devices which can run at the same time.
The onboard Triple Turbo M.2 slots with M.2 SHIELD FROZR offer three M.2 slots with solid thermal solutions. Another exclusive accessory, M.2 XPANDER-AERO, offers four extra M.2 slots, featuring the award-winning MSI TORX FAN with the patented blade design ensures strong cooling performance while remaining incredibly silent, not only increasing the storage capacity but also keeping M.2 devices cool with maximum performance. For smooth and stable networking experience, MEG X299 CREATION features 2.5G LAN plus Intel gigabit LAN and dual-band Wi-Fi to deliver high bandwidth and low latency network connection.
The bandwidth management also supports prioritization for applications to provide maximum data transfer experience. Moreover, MSI ThunderboltM3 is an add-on card including two thunderbolt3 ports and displaying ports to accelerate content creation workflow. It can simultaneously drive two external 4K displays, and best single-cable docking with multifunctional hardware interface. ThunderboltM3 also supports daisy chaining with up to six thunderbolt™ devices, whose speeds can be 8x faster than USB 3.0.

lolz
i mean it's gorgeous and top tier, but it will be outsold by the x399 version.
and considering the fact that the VRMs get a tad warm on the x399, you know it's going to average 7-15c warmer on x299, so buy the case accordingly or add fans.

Nice bundle... The idea is good...
But why MSI haven't merge the both sister card on a single card?
In this config you buy a premium mother board with only 2 PCIe X16 port, wich is stupid i think.
