MSI Announces MSI Geforce RTX 30 SEA HAWK (liquid cooled)

MSI Announces MSI Geforce RTX 30 SEA HAWK (liquid cooled)

A powerful MSI Dragon G opened the “MSI Premiere 2021: Tech For the Future” show, followed by a helicopter that flew over the sea and revealed MSI RTX 30 SEA HAWK.

MSI has announced a new Hybrid cooled (liquid/air cooling partnered with Asetek) MSI SEA HAWK serie4s graphics cards that sit in the RTX 3000 range. We assume 3080 and 3090 solely. The cooler is paired with a big 240mm radiator fitted with two Torx 4.0 fans. RTX 30 SEA HAWK is the product of a novel design with proven technology — which just got faster with an upgrade to the GeForce RTX 30 Series. The Taiwanese manufacturer relies on a dual-slot design with a black and silver look. As with previous Nvidia reference cards or Sea Hawk models, the design is quite simple and a blower fan is used on the graphics card, which is not active when the GPU temperature is low. It is probably only used for additional cooling of the custom PCB, which is reinforced at the rear by a metal backplate. The water pump with a copper plate, which leads to a 240-millimeter radiator, sits on the graphics unit and the video memory. The two 120 millimeter fans feature the fourth generation of MSI's Torx fan design, which is supposed to provide significantly more static air pressure. The radiator fans also stop when the GPU temperature is low. The previous Sea Hawk models only offered a 120-millimeter radiator.

The specific specifications of the new Sea Hawk graphics cards are currently unknown. We will add the information on clock rates, TDP values, prices and availability as soon as possible. MSI plans roughly with availability in February .

The combined advantages of both air and liquid cooling come together with dedicated fan cooling and an all-in-one closed-loop liquid cooling solution that is efficient, silent, and requires absolutely no maintenance. As the helicopter flew over snow-covered mountains, MSI’s GeForce RTX 30 SUPRIM Series appeared on a peak. SUPRIM, a new graphics card design, turns a prestigious concept into reality. This card is amped up with robust power stages for durability, efficiently cooled with TRI FROZR 2S and delivers a modern aesthetic that reflects a high-performance lifestyle. This masterpiece continues MSI’s legacy of powering immersive gaming adventures and demanding content creation.ap.

Damn, this card looks ugly. I liked the plain design from previous SeaHawk models more than this.

Looks ok, tho looks isnt my priority.. wonder if tpd is as shitty as my current msi 2080 sea hawk.. 104% is very low, and it limmits oc on my current card.. Sea hawk could at least
be 110% minimum
