MSI adds Z170A MATE motherboard
This one surfaced on the web today, it is the Z170A MATE motherboard from MSI and seems to be a budget Z170 motherboard. As simple as it looks, I do like the all black design. The Skylake ready motherboard has a 6-phase CPU VRM, four DDR4 DIMM slots and one PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot.
It also has another PCI-Express 3.0 x16 but that one is connected as a Gen 3.0 x4 and leads to the PCH Z170 chipset, then three PCI-Express 3.0 x1, and yes yes, two legacy PCI slots. Storage is kept pretty basic but since the Z170 chipset has a lot to offer it still has a M.2 32 Gb/s slot, a SATA-Express 16 Gb/s connector and six SATA 6 Gb/s ports. More than enough tbh.
This board costs only US $120.

I have PCI soundcard, and I hope as I upgrade CPU and MB, it will have PCI.
I think people can easily imagine a lot of PCI stuff. What is much harder to imagine is that 1/2 of PCIe cards which are not Graphics Cards or SSD/raid controller are actually PCI design with PCI-2-PCIe bridge chips.
