We already reviewed the PCier gen 4.0 versions, however MSI is now offering a cheaper SPATIUM M390 PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD still capable of 3300MB/s

A new NVMe M.2 SSD that supports PCI-Express3.0 (x4) connectivity has been released. The drive has a form factor of M.2 2280 and has capacities of 500GB and 1TB.

(3D) NAND storage is used in conjunction with a Phison E15T controller. The transfer speed of the 500GB model is 3,300MB / sec for sequential reading and 2,300MB / sec for writing. The random reading and writing speeds are 300,000 IOPS and 550,000 IOPS, respectively. SSDs with a PCI-Express3.0 (x4) connection are said to have performance of 3,300MB / sec, 3,000MB / sec, 420,000 IOPS, and 550,000 IOPS, respectively. The 1TB model is said to have the performance of 3,300MB / sec, 3,000MB / sec, 420,000 IOPS, and 550,000 IOPS, respectively, and demonstrates best-in-class performance among SSDs with a PCI-Express3.0 (x4) connection.

Also included are functionalities such as Trim, SMART (LDPC ECC), E2E Data Protection, and AES 256-bit encryption, as well as other features. The external dimensions are as follows: 22 mm in width, 80 mm in depth, and 2.15 mm in height. The total write amount for the 500GB model is 200TBW, while the total write amount for the 1TB model is 400TBW. The mean time between failures (MTBF) is 1.5 million hours, and the product guarantee is 5 years.
