MSI 80 PLUS GOLD 1000W Gaming Power Supply Unit: MPG A1000G

MSI 80 PLUS GOLD 1000W Gaming Power Supply Unit: MPG A1000G

The MPG A1000G is MSI’s latest 1000W gaming power supply unit designed for gamers looking for the best for their build. Besides its 80 PLUS GOLD certification, the MPG A1000G also features 100% Japanese 105° C capacitors and solid capacitors for the best product quality and performance stability.

With features like single-rail design, the MPG A1000G is meant to support other power demanding components such as Intel’s 12th gen Core processors or the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards. The MPG A1000G is a power supply unit designed to further refine MSI’s gaming ecosystem. Visually, the MPG A1000G has patterns that resemble those you can see on the MPG VELOX 100P AIRFLOW PC case and the MPG Z690 CARBON WIFI motherboard. Compatibility-wise, MSI’s products can easily match with one another to create the friendliest PC DIY ecosystem.

As we all know, the efficiency of your power supply unit directly affects your system’s overall performance and its power consumption. The MPG A1000G’s 80 PLUS Gold certification promises lower energy consumption and higher efficiency. Speaking of energy consumption, the MPG A1000G also features a 0% RPM mode. The fan 0% RPM mode can effectively stop the fan’s operation when TDP is below 40% to reduce both system noise and energy consumption.

With dimensions of 150mm x 150mm x 86mm, the MPG A1000G is smaller than typical PSUs on the market within the same ATX segment. This makes it easier to be installed while leaving more room in the PC case for cable management or airflow. Continuing on cable management, the MPG A1000G’s fully modular design means that only the connectors required by the build need to be used. This significantly reduces cable clutter and simplifies the system’s overall build.
