MSI’s Vortex G25 is a gaming desktop with GTX 1070 and Quad Core Proc

That's a thin unit alright, announced at Computex 17 MSI now being released, the MSI Vortex G25It is a thin gaming PC which offers 4K gaming experience at 60fps. The Vortex G25 has a Kaby lake Quad Core Overclockable Intel Core i7 along with an up-to GeForce GTX 1070 with 8GB VRAM and up-to 64GB Dual Channel DDR4 memory.

PC gaming systems are usually a bit fat on all sides, not very sexy-looking. However, this new spawn of ultra-slim gaming desktops are changing that perception and the latest one is the Vortex G25 from MSI. The MSI Vortex G25 displaces just 2.5 liters and is therefore fantastically slim. It will give the new PlayStation 4 Slim a run for its money. It’s designed like a console too, with the most frequently used ports, like the USB Type-C and USB ports, conveniently positioned on the front. The Vortex G25 was designed with VR use in mind, and so the front panel has a convenient power jack that can be used to power VR headsets.

Vortex G25Specifications

I wonder if they use an MXM 3.0b or desktop format PCIe video card in this.

I'd guess laptop card like the predecessor - space constraints.

They're the same chip. There is no mobile version of the 1070, just clocked a little lower.

If there is no displayport, can thunderbolt be used instead ? There are cables DP-Thunderbolt or an adaptor is needed ?
