The C64 Mini will get 64 games and appear on March 29. 64 games are installed on the device and can be connected directly to TV. Commodore 64 was THE computer to get back in the 80ies, and thus this is a lot of nostalgia.

The device is made by Retro Games and actually will be half the size of the original. The console can be connected to a television via an HDMI cable. Furthermore, a joystick is included, which can be connected to one of the two USB ports. This means that the built-in games can be played. The C64 Mini costs just 80 euros. Games that are included include Boulder Dash, California Games, Summer Games and Impossible Mission.

For those that where born after the 90'ies, the Commodore 64 was THE personal computer back in the days, it surely was a life changer for yours truly. In early 2018 under the name "C64 Mini" the replica unit will be ready and released and it will hold 64 classic Commodore 64 games as well as the ability to program it in Basic. Basic was a programming language in the most simple form.

With the C64 Mini, Retro Games follows in the footsteps of Nintendo, which previously released smaller versions of the NES and SNES with pre-installed games. Those devices were sold a lot within a short time. The original C64 computer appeared in 1982. In the 1980s, millions of copies were sold worldwide.

I still have an original working unit, see below:
