According to a business announcement on Friday, Microsoft will release its office software suite Office 2021 on Tuesday next week. This corresponds with the release of Microsoft's new operating system, Windows 11, which will also be available on the same day.

Several of the features found in its predecessor, Office 2019, will be included in Office 2021, including the option to have multiple authors work on the same Word document at the same time. Users must have access to the OneDrive cloud storage service in order to do so. Teams video calling tool, which is also accessible separately and for free, will be included with Office 2021, in addition to the Office suite.

Furthermore, the apps included in the package have been given a fresh design as well as a night mode. Office 2021 is also compatible with Windows 10 as well as the three most recent versions of macOS.

There will be two versions of Office 2021 available: a private version, which will cost 150 euros, and a business version, which will cost 250 euros, according to Microsoft. After October 5, Office 2019 will still be accessible for use.
