Microsoft To Launch Windows 10 Creators Update
During the Microsoft announcements earlier today Microsoft talked about a new large update for Windows 10, previously known as Redstone 2, now called the Windows 10 Creators Update.
Windows 10 Creators Update is due to be reelased in spring 2017 and places a focus on 3D and gaming as well as some other things. Funny to observe was that with the update several apps can now be used to design 3D objects. As previously known, Paint will support the creation of 3D objects. Today Microsoft revealed it will also be possible to print the designs with a 3D printer reports myce.com.
With your smartphone you'll be able to capture 3D objects by moving the smartphone over and around object you like to capture. That will info be used to create and render the 3D object. You'll need a Windows 10 compatible smartphone, of course.
Paint will be totally revamped and renamed to Paint 3D. The software makes it possible for users to import photos and through its ‘Magic Select’ feature they can completely remove a person from the photo. Microsoft also revealed a community where users can share 3D objects called Remix 3D. Through the community it’s possible to print 3D objects through an online 3D print service. Paint 3D also support files from the Google’s popular online 3D community Sketchup. The community is already online but can only be accessed by users from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and New Zealand
Also Powerpoint gets support for 3D, it becomes possible to add 3D objects from the Remix 3D community or 3D objects made with Paint 3D. Also 3D animations can be added to presentations. Microsoft’s augmented reality device HoloLens can also be used to retrieve 3D objects from the community. By selecting objects in HoloLens it’s possible to place them in the room where you are. A new feature in HoloLens is called HoloTour. This allows users to ‘teleport’ themselves to any place in the world. The feature requires a 360 movie of the location.
The Creators Update also adds several features targeted at gamers. A feature Microsoft calls ‘Beam’ allows gamers to stream their gameplay to others The streaming feature is native to Windows 10 and works with all games that support streaming technology.
The Xbox console will get support Dolby Atmos with the Creators Update and Xbox Live will get an Arena feature that allows users to setup tournaments.
With the Creators Update, Microsoft tries to make it easier to connect to contacts in the addressbook. E.g. it will be possible to drag a picture of a person to a mail application which will then recognize that person and add it as a the recipient. From the desktop it will also be possible to share other files like photos with others. Microsoft also announced it will add a special ‘Share Charm to Windows 10 that resides in the bottom-right of the taskbar.
The company will also bundle all communication possibilities it offers in Windows 10. Through a special hub all communication between you and other persons can be viewed in a single app. SMS messages, mails and Skype messenger are all bundled together based on the name of the contact. This should make it easier to find messages and conversations.

Windows 10 on my sons rig, zero issues since RTM release.
Only BSOD was from overclocking on his rig, not Win 10 issue.
Windows 10 on my server, zero issues, not 1 BSOD since RTM.
Windows 10 on my netbook, zero issues since RTM.
Only dont have Win 10 on my HTPC because I am being cheap and dont wanna replace the 40GB SSD in it.
Remote desktop works perfect even when streaming it over the internet with nvidia game stream on my phone.
Personally, I feel people whine too damn much.

seems like another disaster from microsoft , windows 10 is already full of junk endless menus and options which u seem to spend forever clicking to get somewhere u want to go, spyware, rootkits keyloggers unknown process sending what u had for breakfast to microsoft which if you do stop it will never boot again terrible operating system i went back to win 7
And grammar classes. If you have a concrete point to make, make it; otherwise just scribling nonsense with no end in sight no commas never using punctuation using u instead of you saying that things r bad using an r instead of an are doesn't really help with ur case
I have not had any issues with Windows 10 so far, for me it's been the most stable build of Windows made ever. The creators update looks awesome!
Same here. For professional and up there is also the option to defer big upgrades. People where shi*tting on Microsoft that it allowed its OS to be outdated and full of security holes (something that happens on ALL outdated OSes, by the way), and now that they made security updates mandatory, everyone is bi*ching.
Nothing to look foward to.
Anyone knows if google is still working on that new OS for PC? Read something about it couple of weeks ago.
Where did you read that? What do you mean about Google not working? Something in the hosts file or something else?
Yeah Windows 10 seems the most unstable NT version ever. On my PC the option "Fast Startup" breaks PC shutdown process and instead my PC just reboots instantly without bios screen and its disconnecting my mouse on startup (some updates enables it without asking). On my tablet Anniversary Update literally destroyed recovery partition. In my place of work remote desktop showed artefacts at the beginning.
Fast Startup basically hibernates the kernel only. That won't work properly if you have another OS installed which has access on the same drives as Windows does, and it will also not work well with PCIe storage or with any driver that requires state refreshing during boot. Disabling it is literally four clicks away. The Anniversary Update does that on purpose, as the recovery partition is redundant with it. The original Windows Image is kept as something like a delta upgrade. You don't need the recovery partition in a proper installation any more.

I haven't personally had any bigger problems with Win10, and I'm fairly content with it (aside from not having the old image viewer anymore, only the pos thing that came with Win10 fresh install), but my mom had to live without the start menu for a month or two after a random update made it disappear. Fortunately another update made it reappear later. Luckily her needs aren't many and I had placed shortcuts to all of her necessary programs on the desktop.
Still, one has to wonder why MS decided to make the start menu disappear for probably millions of people. Maybe they just wanted to see how much complaints not having the start menu would generate.
