Microsoft releases cumulative updates for Windows 10 ahead of regular Patch Tuesday
Microsoft has released cumulative updates for Windows outside its regular Patch Tuesday updates cycle. The company today released updates for Windows 10 Creators Update (build 1703), Windows 10 November Update (build 1511) and Windows 10 Anniversary Update (build 1609).
No updates have been made available for Windows 10 Fall Creators Update reports myce today.
Here is what Microsoft reports:
Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB4052232) and Windows 10 Version 1607 (KB4052231)
- Addressed issue where applications based on the Microsoft JET Database Engine (Microsoft Access 2007 and older or non-Microsoft applications) fail when creating or opening Microsoft Excel .xls files. The error message is, “Unexpected error from external database driver (1). (Microsoft JET Database Engine).\
The other update is only for Surface device owners.
Windows 10 Creators Update Version 1703 (KB4049370)
- Addressed issue where after installing KB4038788, some Microsoft Surface Laptops boot to a black screen. Additionally, you must press the power button for a long time to recover.
The next Patch Tuesday is normally next week. It’s expected the software giant will then release its monthly updates for Windows 10. Today’s update are mainly performance issues and bug fixing. Updates are available through Windows Update, as usual.

No its not for HDR monitors only HDR TV's are fixed with lower color range like 4:2:0. Full range RGB over dp 1.4 stille bronen HDR colors
