As the title implies, Microsoft pulls AMD driver from Windows Update that causes boot issues. The particular driver v9.3.0.221 of the SCSI adapter driver for AMD systems prevents some system s from booting,



With that in mind if you have a pending update, delay it a bit more until the actions has been reversed. over at the Microsoft forums and the AMD subreddit users are complaining that the update is slaying their system. The update provides a blue or green screen of death on the PCs. Users will then see the message INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE. The only way to boot the operating system is to enter Recovery mode and use Startup Repair.

Microsoft has not yet officially responded, but an employee confirms on Reddit that the update was pulled from Windows Update. It is not clear exactly what is causing the bug, but from user reports, the problems seem to be mainly for users of Gigabyte motherboards.
