Microsoft looking at graphics machine learning development, potential DLSS equivalent?
Microsoft is seeking a software developer in the segment of machine learning to enhance the computing power of graphics from current consoles.
A post spotted by Hardware Times seems to indicate that from the job description, it looks like the Xbox maker is interested to develop a solution similar to the dlss.
Xbox uses machine learning to make traditional reasoning algorithms more efficient and to develop improved alternatives. Xbox's graphics team is looking for an engineer who can incorporate machine learning algorithms into graphics software for millions of gamers.
Nvidia's dlss use artificial intelligence (machine learning), and FidelityFX Super Resolution AMDs is more of an upscaler with a sharpening filter. The idea is to play games at a higher frame rate without sacrificing the quality of graphics. The software's specific name is not mentioned by Microsoft itself.
