Microsoft lists of features that will be removed with Fall Creators Update

Microsoft has released a list showing several features that will be depreciated or removed with the upcoming fall update of Windows 10.

Multiple  removed items are libraries, engines or modules that won’t directly affect end-users, but Microsoft will also make changes to some well known Windows features . E.g. the company will no longer install the 3D Builder app by default in Windows 10, users will have to install it from the Windows Store.

The company also writes that the Reader app and Reading List features will no longer be individual features, they will be integrated in Microsoft’s Edge browser. Outlook Express will be removed with the Fall Creators Update and the regular Paint app will no longer be in active development. Instead, Microsoft will focus on Paint 3D.

The entire list, including additional comments can be found on the Microsoft website.

Ah it's that attitude that makes this world such a joke at the moment (Screw everyone else it doesn't effect me).

Removing features like Paint is annoying and when I bought Windows 10 I expect it to keep features, not loose them and/or forced to use the store to get them back.

But let me guess we should let M$ go the apple route and force us into using the store?

Yep, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Facebook, all these companies that outsource labor pretty much do nothing but destroy the economy and undermine the quality of goods in a constant race to the bottom.

People want everything for free dont care that now they only have access to replicas of what they used to be able to buy for real. It is a mentality that is pervasive today.

it's not removing, they have put everything from paint on the 3D... the normal one is useless now.

And about viewer, who still use the one that come with windows? puting them with edge save place on the drive :) it's a nice move to merge everything that you doesn't use in a single place.

If you are literally complaining about Microsoft removing paint then you're just complaining just to complain. All Paint features are in Paint 3D which is basically an updated version of paint anyway.

None of these are updated or kept supported by Microsoft anyway.
