Microsoft will add its game streaming platform xCloud to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription in September, the company announced. Paying users can stream games via the internet via the service and play them on a smartphone, for example.

Subscribers don't have to pay an additional cost for the streaming service, Microsoft writes. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate costs 13 euros per month. The subscription gives users access to a selection of over a hundred console and PC games, with new games being added all the time. Currently, members are downloading the games, but as of September, they will be able to stream games from various devices through Microsoft servers. This is possible, for example, on a phone or tablet. Games can also be started on the Xbox game console and continued on a mobile device.

As of September, xCloud can only be used in conjunction with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Later, the streaming platform will be rolled out to other users.
