Microsoft Halts OEM sales of Windows 7 and Windows 8 licenses
On schedule and according to plan Microsoft has now stopped selling Windows 7 Professional and Windows 8 licenses for OEMs. From this point onwards new laptops will only be sold with Windows 10 pre-installed. Other versions of Windows 7 and Windows 8, such as Home Basic, Home Premium and Ultimate were already no longer available for sale.
The end of sales for PCs with Windows pre-installed is especially targeted at OEMs. Microsoft already ended the retail sales of Windows 7 Home and Ultimate in 2014. The company allowed business users to still purchase a Professional license. Microsoft will continue to provide Windows 7 with security updates till at least 2020.

Well, I can't wait in years to come when the next windows comes out how people will justify it after MS said W10 is last os. I'm sure it'll be something "It's old, we're due an upgrade anyway..." etc. Heck, 10 more years and the sheep will accept a "must be online" os.

MS is doing this to push more people onto their Windows 10 platform. Sorry Linux is my next move.
I could go on and on about the crap that is Windows 10, but I'm sure you've all heard it before. In short it is horribly buggy, naggy, bloaty garbage. Defend it all you want. I been there, done that, tried to like it, and decided I will not have that sh** on my PC.
My favorite "creepy message" other than "This won't take long..." and of course, it does...was when it crashed/failed loading something and said, "Oops, something happened." And I was like, No....no it didn't. Something was supposed to happen, but nothing happened instead!"

Nope, I don't say that. There are many linux distributions. For ex Linux Mint
Also if you put google to this list. I don't provide any personal info in Google Play account, and recently I removed Google Play at all. I use google as a search engine from time to time, with many scripts and addons which prevents tracking and ****. I also don't have any social account besides skype, and since Microsoft bought it, I use it only for calling to foreign countries, because it's way cheaper than other options I have here. I hate Android for it's lack of privacy and ads too. But I don't put any valuable information on my phone and use bare android or cyonogen. Or I just remove tracking services there, as best as I can.
