Microsoft Flight Simulator ideal spec would be RTX 2080 / Radeon VII and 150GB storage
Interesting feature huh? Right now the skies would be quite empty though. But yea, next to ading real-time weather Microsoft Flight Simulator will use real flight information to simulate real-time air traffic.
This is confirmed by Sebastian Wloch, director of Asobo, in the latest video in the series of new features. The flight information will simulate "most, if not all" of the planes that fly over the world at any time, and when the game is offline, an AI will take over piloting them. Meanwhile, if players activate Live Players mode, the weather will also be simulated based on real-world information. For example, if you fly over Paris in the middle of a storm, that's because there is indeed a storm in Paris.
Live Players mode will be the main simulation of the game, but there is also the All Players mode, which allows you to control practically everything in the simulation, including weather. The latter will be more attractive for those who only want to fly and enjoy the landscapes of the world without paying much attention to reality.
Update April 22nd: the specs have been released as to what is recommended PC wise. Obviously you'll need a beefy PC. Flight Simulator requires at least 150GB of storage. Just 8GB of ram and an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel Core i5-4460 processor at a minimum, with 2GB of VRAM from a graphics card -- with Microsoft requiring an AMD Radeon RX 570 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 graphics card.
If you really like some eye-candy, you'll need a Ryzen 5 1500X or Core i5-8400 with 16GB of system RAM paired with a Radeon RX 590 or GeForce GTX 970.
The "ideal spec" is a Ryzen 7 Pro 2700X or Core i7-9800X / 32GB of system RAM and a something like a Radeon VII or GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card. Interesting that a Radeon VII is listed, likely in the best graphics conditions the simulator will eat up lots of VRAM.

Folk keep banging on about will it play Crysis when the reality is MSFS has always been a struggle no matter what PC I've used and I wouldn't say I've had some under powered PCs over the years. The sims always have a host of settings that can really make your PC cry when you start turning them up to max and now it seems my 2070Super may just about be the 'ideal' spec to play this game. If previous MSFS games are anything to go by then I am going to need to turn the visual and traffic options down until MS get at least a year in to updates and tweaks to improve performance.
Then again if the final game looks the way these images have shown.
Imagine the thrill of getting to sit in the cockpit, inside a hanger, waiting for a tech to come along and fix the engines and do a software update.

Sure when people stop being asses for no reason. Check his responses on here to anyone and it will show he sounds like he's just trolling.
I'm here to talk about a game. This guy's doing what exactly??
I sure am hoping for taking it on some drunken flights to and from some exotic places!.!.!
Then again if they truly went for accuracy I might be in trouble trying to fly it at all... With their Max engine issues they've had in the past. Good old BOEING.
Sure aren't doing a good job at that when you're going back and forth like a child.
And also stop with the double posts!!!!!

Double posts!?!.?! Not sure what you mean. If I comment to someone and someone else at the same time are you saying I need to quote both??? In one message? Even though it was two separate comments at different times???

So you're saying it's me going back and forth like a child ... Yeah again check his comments out on here and you'll see childish.
Man just wanting to make sure the barrels pointed in th right direction.... Because I guess it's since he's been on here with more comments for longer.
Don't call me a child.... Because of someone else's actions. I'm simply speaking facts about something relevant. When someone says otherwise I have issues with that. Not a childish moment guy. Get it.
