Microsoft Flight Simulator will be released for PC on August 18 in three versions
The much-anticipated Flight Simulator from Microsoft will see a release on August 18 for Windows 10. The Standard Edition is available via the Game Pass subscription or sold separately for 70 euros. Editions with more planes and airports are available for 90 and 120 euros.
Microsoft will launch the PC version first, with The Xbox One version will follow later. Microsoft will offer a Deluxe Edition for 90 euros that includes five additional planes and five airports. Finally, there is also a Premium Deluxe Edition with another five additional planes and airports. Microsoft has published online lists of all the aircraft and airports that are in the different editions. Microsoft currently leaves it open whether the three editions differ from the other aircraft and airports. It is certain that a maximum of 40 available airports have been implemented in detail, the rest of the announced 37,000 airports are available, but have been implemented significantly less extensively.
“We have been thrilled and humbled by the support and dedication that has fueled the Flight Sim community for the past 38 years,” says Jorg Neumann, head of Microsoft Flight Simulator. “Since the launch of the very first Microsoft Flight Simulator in 1982, we knew it was finally the right time to develop the next-generation version of Microsoft Flight Simulator.”
Airports like San Francisco or London’s Heathrow airport are locked behind the premium edition, while Chicago’s O’Hare airport and Amsterdam’s Schiphol are available in the deluxe version. Microsoft Flight Simulator will also launch free of charge as part of Xbox Game Pass for PC.

As mentioned in the news-item, 37,000 airports are available ... so any and all + Nordics are in there. Just not the handcrafted premium detailed experience as the 30 or 40 listed ones.

That's a lot of money but then again it is a lot of game. Will be interesting to know how it does in benchmarking Hilbert, both for cpu and graphics.
I think it pulls a lot of data from the cloud though ( pardon the pun), so for a benchmark would that could cause issues unless it was inbuilt and runs just locally ??????

I just hope its not like the last flight simulator where you need to spend Thousand dollars for all the add ons just to make it look Decent. If they go in that direction again people can just stay with Dcs world which is much better overall in my opinion. I like flying fighter jets wheres the fun in flying passanger airlines lol?
Add a Concorde make the game with some veraity for faks sake guys, lets just hope the right people are making the game this time around. Peace.

Not a single airport or aircraft manufacturer from the Nordic countries, not even in the most expensive version. Microsoft must not be intending this game to be played up north.
