Microsoft Announces New 8th Gen Intel Core-Powered Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2

Microsoft announced the all-new Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop, according to them both faster than ever with the latest 8th Generation Intel Core processors. The Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 also now feature a new color option, a classic matte black.

The Surface Pro 6 has a screen of 12.3 inches and is equipped with a camera of 8 megapixels. The device comes available in gray and black. The device is also equipped with a storage capacity of 16 GB, which can be expanded with a SD card of 1 TB. The Surface Pro 6 is equipped with an eighth generation Intel quadcore chip. The device according to Microsoft two thirds faster than its predecessor, the Surface Pro. According to the manufacturer, the battery lasts for more than thirteen hours.

In the United States, the Surface Pro 6 will be sold for $ 899 from October 16th. How expensive the device is in Europe and when the device is for sale, is not yet known.

Surface Laptop 2, new Surface Studio and headphones
Microsoft announced two other products, including the Surface Laptop 2 with a screen of 13.5 inches. According to Microsoft, the laptop is 85 percent faster than its predecessor. Just like the new Surface Pro, the Surface Laptop 2 can also be purchased in the US from October 16th. The device will cost at least $ 999. the biggest problem (imho) with the previous generation(s) was the cooling. the chassis became much too hot...
so i'm very curious how (and if) that was addressed. i love the potential of the surface...just not the execution to date
