At its Investor Meeting 2022, Intel exhibited a functioning desktop PC based on its 13th Generation Core Raptor Lake CPU manufactured utilizing Intel 7 manufacturing technology.

In addition, the business indicated that multi-chiplet/multi-tile Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake processors will be released in the future years, after Raptor Lake. Intel's 13th Generation Core Raptor Lake processors will include up to eight high-performance and 16 energy-efficient cores capable of processing up to 32 threads at the same time. According to Jim Johnson, senior vice president and interim leader of Intel's Client Computing Group, the company expects a double-digit performance gain over current 12th Generation Core Alder Lake CPUs. Raptor Lake CPUs from Intel will be available later this year and will be socket compatible with Alder Lake systems.

Meteor Lake, which will follow Raptor Lake in 2023. The processor will use a multi-tile/multi-chiplet architecture partitioned by Intel's EMIB technology, with the CPU tile manufactured using Intel's next-generation Intel 4 design process (now known as 7 nm). Meteor Lakes, on the other hand, will have a totally new GPU (named tGPU for the time being) based on Intel's Xe architecture. They also get an integrated artificial intelligence gadget.

In 2024, Intel's Arrow Lake will replace Meteor, although its design will stay the same, allowing for multiple-chiplet processing while using the company's Intel 20A node for the CPU tile. Meteor Lake and Arrow Lake may share platform architecture with Alder Lake and Raptor Lake, however Intel has not verified this.

Lunar Lake will launch in 2024 and have a tile produced utilizing Intel 18A technology. Although Lunar Lake looks to be a whole new category of Intel goods, it is scheduled to join Arrow Lake in 2024, implying that the product will have different tastes and attributes. Intel is now just asserting that Lunar Lake CPUs will have more performance per watt. As a result, we can only assume that this is a mobile-first device, yet despite the fact that laptops are no longer sold as desktop computers, all modern designs discount mobility.
