Meteor Lake CPUs get TDP of 5-125W and GPU with 96 to 192 EUs
Processors based on Meteor Lake will be released in 2023. Foveros tacked processors will be available in TDPs from 5 to 125W. There are up to 192 execution units available on the GPU.
Meteor Lake will be based on Intel's 7nm process and will be released in 2023. Intel 4 is the new name for that node. Intel will use the second generation of its Foveros chip stacking technology for the Meteor Lake processors. Compared to the first Foveros generation, this new generation has a bump pitch of 36 microns, which doubles the number of connections between the various chips.
96 to 192 execution units are on the gpu die. The number of CPU cores and GPU specifications are not yet known. Intel uses Xe GPUs with up to 96 EUs in its current Tiger Lake processors. Meteor Lake processors will have a TDP ranging from 5W to 125W, depending on the model. CPUs are available in a variety of configurations, including economical laptop versions and powerful desktop variants.
Alder Lake processors are also shown in this presentation, they will be made on Intel's 7th generation processor. Es ist bereits bekannt, dass diese Generation eine Kombination aus wirtschaftlichen kleinen und leistungsfähigen großen Kernen enthält. Small cores are economical, while large cores are powerful. Intel's presentation shows a processor with 16 cores, eight of which are large and eight of which are small."
