Man Shoots AMD Threadripper Processor with gun - Bullseye
I never seem to understand or get the point of photos destroying stuff, I can only assume something happened with the system or somebody wanted to post a rambunctious photo of some kind, but yeah, somebody took a small caliber gun and shot a Threadripper processor bullseye, and then took a photo of it.
What I can tell however is that the Ryzen Threadripper heat spreader seems to be a rather strong one. I'll just stop talking and leave it at the photo as posted on Reddit by Desecration, who just shared the photo and left no comment whatsoever. If this was a working setup, what a total waste of money and resources ... Or hey, perhaps it was a disgruntled Intel employee? I dunno man. The lower part of the photo does show broking liquid cooling of some kind, including a rather moisty area covered with coolant drops. Perhaps a leak destroyed the setup, and he shot it?

If you are smart when you setup your homeowners insurance you can cover whatever you want with whatever amount you want to cover it for. I've personally got $10k coverage just for my basement, but that just barely covers my PC.
Again I said if one was smart on it it can happen.
Having worked for insurance companies, and my sister still does, there is no way they will pay out if a piece of hardware you own malfunctions. This is covered by the hardware's warranty, not by you home insurance. If said hardware was the malfunction and cause a house fire then yes you will be covered as the rest of your stuff was damaged because of the fire.

Printers deserve this, they are evil. They just refuse to function.

Especially when it's HP that thinks they're the only one you should ever buy ink from (at a terrible markup).

After time distilled water at least does become conductive rather quickly in a system...How quickly I'm not sure, but a leak is still bad no matter what.

I shot our crap printer a bit over a year ago and it was immensely satisfying. Of course it was outside in a safe place to do such a thing. This is also a part that cost about 5% of a Threadripper (and was going to the dump anyways).
