Lindsay Lohan loses court appeal over Grand Theft Auto V character
Lindsay Lohan has lost her battle with the makers of hit video game Grand Theft Auto V for creating a character which she claimed shared her likeness.
A lawyer representing the actress argued that Take-Two Interactive Software, which owns Rockstar Games, violated her right to privacy by using "look-a-like" images of her in the game, reports sky news;
However, New York's Court of Appeals ruled that satirical representations of a young woman, who was "modern" and "beach-going", were not identifiable as the Mean Girls star. The court upheld a ruling from a lower state appeals court, which dismissed her lawsuit. The court ruled the depictions were "nothing more than cultural comment" and said the game's makers did not owe any damages.
The 31-year-old former child star had objected to the character Lacey Jonas, who calls herself "really famous", an "actress slash singer" and hides from photographers as part of the game, first released in 2013. She also took issue with the depiction of a blonde woman shown being frisked by a police officer and another wearing a red bikini and taking a selfie while flashing a peace sign. But Judge Eugene Fahey said Lohan's case could not prevail as the game merely showed a generic "20-something" woman, without suggesting it was her.

Not exactly sure why someone who's a natural redhead would think that a blonde character in a video game magically resembles them just because they used a cheap blonde dye kit....
Pretty much. However, she got the opposite by going to court. She lost tons of it.
I'm pretty sure that Rockstar artists, when they drew the girl, they didn't have that porn star in mind. The likeness is just a coincidence.
Lindsay Lohan is far from being a porn star....lol She did a shoot for Playboy. That's the closest she's ever gotten to porn. These days, she's not really a "star" of any type....
