Limited Availability Coffee lake at Launch and in Q4?

Limited Availability Coffee lake at Launch and in Q4?

It is hard to gauge whether or not it’s a bit of a click-bait from some media outlets, but granted it’s possible. Word out is that Coffee Lake processors will see limited availability at launch and the remainder of 2017.

We all know that Intel kinda rushed the Coffee lake launch forward to have an answer to AMD. The quick push forward is likely to result in limited availability of the processor series in Q4 2017 as the original launch was expected to be in Q1 2018. The guys from SweClockers mention that they did rounds are Swedish etailers and, the word back was that they have very little stock. If that is the case on a global scale, then it will have an adverse effect on final (higher) etail pricing of course as high-demand drives up prices.

It seems that Core i7-8700K, Core i5-8600K, and Core i3-8350K are on stock to some degree yet the Core i7-8700, Core i5-8400 and Core i3- 8100 have not even reached the stores yet.

This is great news, now make lower prices than amd equivalent counterpart..

Unfortunately limited quantity usually produces higher rather than lower prices.

Hahahahhahhahhahahahhaha ! lower prices ?? what are you some poor pleb? Dont you know that Intel is only for the worthy (read rich)people. If you are not some Saudi sheikh you are not even worthy to look at Intel procs not to mention buying them :) :) :) :) :) :D :D :D :D :D :D

I promised a fiend to help build a new Coffee Lake based system, but if they're all out of stock (or cost twice as much) I might just as well swap it for B350 and 1600.

as im running 1440p and not a 1080ti and will not really see cpu-bottlenecking with the games i run,
im not gonna spend 50$ more for what amd offers free (unlocked) multi.

If this doesn't sound rushed, nothing more will.
I never heard of limited availability for a $hintel product.

Who puts the price up.....Intel or the retailer, Intel gets all the flak while the retailer rub there hands together and make a tidy little profit, personally after my experience with my toasty 6700k im gonna stick with the 6600k that i have now.

Omg you enlightened me, now i see everything, i even see i have intel cpu even i am "poor pleb" and about saudi arabia people they all are just camel fuckers who had luck living where oil was undergound but instead buying oil from them Europe and USA should kill them all and don't bother with human trash anymore so that's it btw and if you were being only sarcy it didn't work :)

P.S(I hope i didn't hurt you feelings!)
No you didn't hurt my feelingso_O,but on the serious side,it is still to early in the game (between Intel and Amd) for Intel to lover prices, maybe after Zen+ next year (if it turns out great),maybe but don't hope too much.Remember last time when Amd stepped on Intel's toes (AMD64),Intel didn't lover prices so i do not expect them to do this time eider.

MSRP is set by Intel or whatever company producing the goods.
Retailers start from MSRP and adjust for supply chain expenses and low/high demand.

Sure, this is quite good news for AMD in my opinion. If there will be limited quantities, Ryzen may perform in the holidays even better than nowadays, and if a gen2, higher clocked Ryzen family enters around the same time as the Coffee Lake gets wide availability...

I was considering Coffee Lake until I looked at current RAM prices. I'll wait another year or two.

They already rushed the x299 platform, why do it again, is Intel really that desperate? Covfefe Lake indeed...

If this rumor is true then retailers are going to have a field day. I guess that early adopter tax is going to be even higher for Coffee Lake.

Looks like the 8000-series will be out of stock until the 24th of October in my region.
