Lian Li teases the PC-V2130 super tower

Lian Li teases a new chassis, finally one that is worth to look at if you ask me. The PC-V2130 is an upcoming 94l supertower case with huge storage capabilities and liquid cooling support. The case is expected to ship in the coming months.

At around 94L, the all aluminum PC-V2130 features:

  • Extremely versatile hard drive system

  • Removable 5.25? cage
  • Locking wheels for maneuverability
  • Front locking door
  • Sound dampening material
  • Tool-Less PCI slot mounting
  • Front fan controller

That thing looks like it would weigh a ton with all the hard drives and radiators and video cards and so on. No wonder they put wheels on it! At least they made them metal so they won't break under the load!

The rest of the case has got me slightly baffled.

That hard drive cage is just weird. Help me out here people, how are you supposed to access your hard drives if the drive cages don't appear to open to either the left no the right and you have a radiator blocking the front???

Also, why is there a pointless metal column inconveniencing your access to the internals of the case? Why is that thing even there? And what is it doing there? And where did it come from? And who's idea was that?

Thanks for the pics mmicrosysm.
Well, I actually like the general idea of those drive trays in that they are completely removable, but if it's a HDD tray and it's not on drive rails then I don't want it in a tower case. As this case isn't even trying to use drive rails, this is where it and I part ways.

They make a case this large..then don't add a slot for an additional PSU?! Come on Lian Li!
