Gamers eagerly waiting for a 5K2K or 5120 x 2160 gaming monitor will have to wait a bit longer, as LG introduces their newest ultrawide 4K display, designed for professionals.

The display is curved, although LG hasn't disclosed its exact curvature, but it's estimated to be somewhere between 1800R to 1500R.

What sets this monitor apart is its Thunderbolt 4 support and daisy-chaining capability, allowing you to connect a second identical display. Note that this will limit the refresh rate to 60 Hz on both screens. The monitor provides up to 96 watts of power over the Thunderbolt port, enough to power most notebooks without a dedicated GPU. Other connectivity options include a single DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI ports (limited to 3440 x 1440 resolution), a pair of USB 3.0 ports on the side, and a headphone jack at the back. The display also features a pair of integrated 10W speakers and an adjustable stand with height, tilt, and swivel adjustments.

LG's 40WP95CP-W is available for purchase at around €1,400 or more, but it retails for €1,339. With its impressive specifications and features, this ultrawide 4K display is a great choice for professionals in need of a high-performance monitor.
