LG introduced the HU710PW 4K compatible projector, which can display a screen up to 300 inches wide (about 6.6 m).

A new addition to the "LG CineBeam" line, this item was produced to enhance "home time" by projecting a large screen with 4K quality in a compact size. The light source consists of a blue laser and a red / blue LED hybrid lamp. In comparison to the conventional kind, which use the DLP color wheel approach, it eliminates aging color shifts and rainbow noise, which were previously considered flaws, and accurately reproduces pure RGB colors. Additionally, it includes a "brightness optimizer" that adjusts the brightness by opening and closing the iris in response to ambient light and reproducing the difference in brightness with the laser output according to the scene. Additionally, it enables "dynamic tone mapping," which improves the HDR video source based on the metadata associated with each frame.

The network is wired LAN and Wi-Fi compatible, and includes a webOS Internet browser and smart functions for playing various VODs, allowing you to enjoy entertainment without the use of an external device. The primary specifications are a maximum resolution of 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), a screen size of 40 to 300 inches (necessary viewing distance: 113 to 870 cm), a contrast ratio of 2,000,000: 1, and a zoom of 1.6x. HDMI 2.1 x 1, HDMI 2.0 x 2, USB 2.0 x 2, wired LAN x 2, and S / PDIF x 1 are the input terminals. External measurements are 259 mm in width, 390 mm in depth, and 129.2 mm in height, with a weight of around 6.5 kg.
