A Brightness Booster Max, which LG claims will add up to 70 percent more brightness to its 2023 OLED TV models (C3, G3, and Z3), is just one of the advances the company plans to unveil at CES.

LG has provided a first look at its display programme for 2023, which naturally includes the OLED televisions that will be introduced this year as planned despite the customary fuzziness of CES announcements. LG's flagship product lines are the Z3, G3, and C3. The B3 is expected to be the most expensive choice, but a cheaper alternative based on older and less complex technology is also expected to be available in 2023.

LG's OLED TVs in 2023 will have the Evo panel and the Alpha 9 CPU, now in its sixth generation. The Signature series' rollable flex panel is back, and so is the series' option to store the panel in a compact box. LG claims that one of the new features will allow for increased brightness in OLED displays "The Brightness Booster Max technology, which debuted in this year's LG OLED Evo G3 series, is a major boost due to the improved light control architecture and light amplification algorithms it employs. Images are clearer and look more realistic when brightness is mapped and modulated on a per-pixel basis."

Unfortunately, LG has yet to detail the technology's operation. It is expected that the CPU will allow for finer control of the ABL (Automatic Brightness Limiter) to increase light output for details and improve thermal management. The remaining hope for success will then be revealed through testing. When assessed at roughly 20 candelas in HDR, the difference between the standard and Evo panels was minimal. LG claims, however, to have enhanced its artificial intelligence algorithms in the areas of both sight and sound. These modern gadgets are capable of producing virtual surround sound with a 9.1.2 channel maximum. The C3 series comes with a base, but the G3 are usually meant to be mounted on the wall. LG promises a new mounting mechanism that will bring the G3 even closer to the wall, and the "One-Wall" design will ensure that there is no apparent gap between the wall and the TV set. Footed gadgets, meanwhile, are set apart from the wall.

The advent of Quick Media Switching Virtual Reality (QMS-VRR) for gaming is planned. QMS-VRR prevents the brief blackout that can occur when switching between sources over HDMI 2.1a connections. Until QMS 2022, VESA had not done anything to advance the HDMI standard. QMS is not expected to be implemented on older models in the meantime.
