LG 40WP95C-W is a 39.7-inch curved ultra-wide LCD panel that offers 5K2K resolution.

LG Electronics introduced a 39.7-inch curved ultra-wide liquid crystal display under SKU code 40WP95C-W with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and 5K2K (5120x2160 pixels) resolution.

The LCD screen employs the Nano IPS technology for more realistic color reproduction, and the color gamut supports 98 percent of the DCI-P3 digital cinema standard. Furthermore, LG's original technology "Live Color Low Blue Light" that maintains beautiful colors while suppressing blue light, "Hardware calibration" that enables continuous display with correct colors, and "Flicker free" that suppresses screen flicker, "AMD FreeSync" that suppresses tearing and stuttering, "DAS" that minimizes video signal time lag, and "Black Stabilizer" that improves the visibility of dark scenes.

The key parameters are as follows: refresh rate 72Hz, response speed 5ms, brightness 300cd / m2, display color approximately 1.07 billion colors, and horizontal / vertical viewing angle 178 °. The interface consists of HDMI x2, DisplayPort x1, Thunderbolt 4 input x1, Thunderbolt 4 output x1, USB3.0x2, and headphone output x1. Thunderbolt 4 also allows daisy chaining. The stand has a -15 to 15 degree swivel, a -5 to 20 degree tilt, and a 110mm height adjustment. The VESA mounter features a pitch of 100x100mm, a speaker output of 10Wx2, exterior dimensions of 947mm, 283mm, 505-615mm, and a weight of 12.3kg. You can expect pricing to sit just under 1500 USD/EUR.

For various work when having the same semi-static image on the screen for hours, you don't want OLED.
Nice monitor!

I hope to see more display products go beyond 4K and bring prices down.

This isn't 2018, Samsung and LG are putting burn-in warranties on their panels at this point.
