A leaked photo of a new Nokia phone has a total of five lenses on the back. The image is shown by IT Home. The lenses are placed in a circle on the back of the phone, along with a flash and a light sensor.

The cameras were made by the German lens manufacturer Zeiss. This company has been making camera equipment for new Nokia phones since 2017. Nokia phones have not been made by Nokia for some time. The company was bought years ago by Microsoft, which later decided to no longer make telephones.

Since then, the brand has been owned by the Finnish HMD Global, and as it seems they want to put more emphasis on the cameras of its Nokia devices. A few weeks ago, the company bought the PureView brand from Microsoft. This brand was used for the cameras with a lot of megapixels that Microsoft put in its devices. Smartphones makers are increasingly choosing to use multiple lenses on a smartphone. Most flagships now have at least two cameras on the back. Huawei unveiled a device with three lenses this year. An LG phone is presumably equipped with two cameras in front and three at the rear.
