Leadtek WinFast GeForce GTX 770 Hurricane III

Leadtek WinFast GeForce GTX 770 Hurricane III

A company that you don't hear much of these days is Laadtek, they are still alive and kicking it though as they have just released the GeForce GTX 770 Hurricane III. The GTX 770 is customized and thus not reference. The card seems to be using the old GTX 680 design and then is armed with customized cooling called Hurricane III. That Hurricane III is based on five copper heatpipes out of which two ate two mill thick. The fans are dual-fan 85mm fans that blow air over the aluminum heatsink.

Leadtek is going to ship this card with a tiny hint of a tweaking, that being a 1159 MHz core clock frequency with 1111 MHz on the Boost frequency. The memory remains clocked at reference speeds of 7.00 Gbps. The card obviously has 2 GB 256-bit GDDR5 graphics memory.

Man it is been a long time since I have seen a Leadtek based Geforce card. I still have my Leadtek Geforce 6800 AGP card in my old P4 rig.

Well evidently they made cards in the GTX XXX series. Maybe they were not big as they once were.
