it's been the topic of a lot of discussions, the ultra-fast storage unit for Playstation 5. We know it'll be 825GB and can reach  5.5 GB/sec data rates, however, what Sony di not share is how much pf the storage volume is actually accessible for storage of games.

Via website Imgur pictures appeared of a PS5 menu. The images are very blurry and very well could be be manipulated. The images in Russian show what is left of the 825 GB for your games. The 825 GB SSD storage memory translates to 768 'real' GB in the OS. Subsequently, the OS saves a part of it, and space is reserved for features such as a quick resume.

This all adds up to about 108 GB, leaving about 660 GB all in all to install your games.

In practice, you will not be able to have too many games installed at the same time, with installation sizes of 50 GB or more per game these days. However, it is possible to expand the storage capacity of the PS5 with a compatible m2 NVME SSD. November 19 is when you can purchase the unit for € 499 (with Blu-ray reader) and € 399 (without Blu-ray reader).
