Kioxia to release New Exceria Series Series SSDs

Starting June 30, Kiokia (previously Toshiba) will release a new range of Exceria SSDs. these include an entry-level 2.5" series as well as a mainstream NVMe M2 and Enthusiast NVMe M2 series SSDs.



The release date of the Kioxia brand personal SSD, which was announced in April this year, will be June 30. 

The "EXCERIA PLUS SSD" series is a higher model of NVMe M.2 SSD that complies with PCI-Express3.0 (x4)/NVMe 1.3. The capacity is 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and the form factor is M.2 2280.

The transfer speed of the 500GB model is 3,400MB/sec for sequential reading, 2,500MB/sec for writing, 420,000 IOPS for random reading, 570,000 IOPS for writing, 3400MB/sec, 3,200MB/sec, 680,000 IOPS, 620,000 for 1TB and 2TB models respectively. IOPS.

The "EXCERIA SSD" series is a lower model of NVMe M.2 SSD that complies with PCI-Express3.0 (x4)/NVMe 1.3. The capacity is 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, and the form factor is M.2 2280.

The "XCERIA SATA SSD" series is a 7mm thick 2.5 inch SSD with SATA3.0 (6Gbps) connection. The lineup includes three capacities of 240GB, 480GB, and 960GB.

Transfer rate is 555MB/sec, 540MB/sec, 79,000 IOPS, 87,000 IOPS for 480GB model, 555MB/sec, 540MB/sec for 480GB, 82,000 IOPS, 88,000 IOPS, 555MB/sec for 960GB, 540MB/sec, 81,000 IOPS, 88,000 IOPS.
