Remember KingSpec? They just released Z1 External SSD, the portable unit has been fitted with a USB 3.1 Gen.2 connector. The Z1 makes use of SLC, that's right SLC NAND and is available in a 128 and 256 GB model.

It is rare these days to use 1005 SLC written memory, but one thing is a fact, that should last you a lifetime or two. The unit is rated at a maximum transfer speed of 850 MB / sec for sequential reads (800 GB / sec for 128 GB), the maximum write rate is listed at 750 MB / sec for both models, random reading maximum 39,000 IOPS, write 32,000 IOPS, average access time 0.1 ms.

And yeah, SLC man, Write endurance is rated at is 100GB per day for at least 8 years, MTBF is 100,000 hours, product warranty is 3 years. The external dimensions are W39 × D82 × H 10.25 mm. Supported OS is Windows 10/7/XP, Windows 2008/2003, DOS, Linux, UNIX.
