JONSBO Announces DS8 Sub-LCD Series with High Resolution and Versatility in Black and White

JONSBO recently unveiled its latest product series, the DS8 sub-LCD series, on March 29th, 2023. This series features an 8-inch sub-liquid crystal display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, available in black and white color options.

The DS8 model boasts a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels and comes equipped with a miniHDMI x 1 and USB Type-C x 1 interface. The main unit features a power button and brightness adjustment button on its side, along with a stand function that uses a standoff. This feature allows users to use the DS8 alone, making it a versatile display option.

Additionally, the DS8 is compatible with the "D31 SCREEN" and "D41 SCREEN" series and comes with live wallpaper software and AIDA 64 real-time monitoring utilities. These utilities provide added functionality to the already feature-packed display series.

The fact its not a simple info panel is nice. I used to have a 8.8 LCD 1920x480 which was fantastic as an info panel but useless as a secondary monitor. This would be a solid 2nd monitor/info panel and be useful for both.

Quite Handy as a second monitor (had mine with D31). Resolution is enough for such small display, and in fact i chose to use 125% text scaling with it. i'm curious about the price of the stand alone though.
