John McAfee found dead in jail cell

It's a man who has lived his life to the fullest, however it has ended with tragedy. John McAfee, founder of the McAfee Antivirus company, has been found dead. He was held in a Barcelona prison and the Catalan Department of Justice has stated that his death was probably due to suicide.

McAfee's attorney confirmed his death, saying it was "the result of a cruel system that had no reason to keep this man in jail for so long."

McAfee was being held in prison, pending extradition to the US, after being arrested in October 2020. He faced charges of tax evasion and had also been charged with cryptocurrency fraud. The Spanish courts had approved his extradition this morning with the opportunity of appeal. McAfee has a history of running into law enforcement. He, his family and members of his security forces were arrested by the Belize police in 2012, following drug and firearms charges. He escaped that same year, after the Belizean police stated that they were looking for him for questioning in connection with the murder of his neighbor.

The story was made into a documentary in 2016, where they sought to prove that McAfee was involved not only in that murder, but also in other crimes. In 2019, McAfee lost a wrongful death lawsuit, where he had to pay $ 25 million, which he also refused to pay. He also claimed that he was unable to pay any of the judgments handed down against him in a variety of cases.

He Epsteined himself by having enemies in high places:

Getting subtle messages from U.S. officials saying, in effect: "We're coming for you McAfee! We're going to kill yourself". I got a tattoo today just in case. If I suicide myself, I didn't. I was whackd. Check my right arm.$WHACKD available only on https://t.co/HdSEYi9krq pic.twitter.com/rJ0Vi2Hpjj

And here:

I am content in here. I have friends.
The food is good. All is well.
Know that if I hang myself, a la Epstein, it will be no fault of mine.

The Whackd web page is now pointing at some random ads.
Yup... very subtle indeed!

I always thought that when that guy dies, they'd find his body in some penthouse next to a dead hooker with coke trails on her belly.
