Jensen Huang hints at Lovelace announcements September 19 to 22

NVIDIA's CEO explained how the company will minimize old model inventories before switching to next-gen. Jensen Huang termed the forthcoming series 'interesting,' although Ampere is their most popular GPU. Too many were created.



NVIDIA CEO confirms 'extra inventory' of GeForce RTX 30 series. The problem is pricing, especially outside China and the US. While we often report price decreases on high-end US models or a Chinese market filled with post-mining GPUs, this isn't always the case in other places. Huang acknowledged the company is working with partners to fix pricing for next-generation. Two years after the architecture's debut, no official price reduction have been announced.

Jensen will discuss next-gen GPUs at GTC'22 next month. First formal word about new architecture.
