Ivy Bridge-E based Core i7 HEDT lineup details
Details of Intel's upcoming Ivy Bridge-E based Core i7 HEDT lineup. Expected to hit the market in Q3 2013, the lineup may look quite similar to the current Sandy Bridge-E lineup. This means a quad-core part in the $300-$400 range, a six-core unlocked model in the $500-$600 range, and an Extreme Edition six-core version around the $1000 mark.
All three versions will use the LGA2011 socket and will be compatible with current X79 motherboards (after a BIOS update). DDR3-1866 is expected to be the standard memory frequency for these processors. Check out the chart.

I just got my 3930k and sabertooth x79 right where it's running perfect. I will probably skip IB-E. That's not to say one wont pass through and I get to test it out.
