Check out the A new Brigade 2 Engine Tech Demo Video. This demo is the Game Release Party version of the student game "It's About Time" and is playable on NVidia hardware only. This tech demo is said to use all your GPUs if you have more than one installed, meaning that it does support SLI. The game uses the Brigade path tracer for rendering. Path tracing is a process that constructs a large number of paths between the camera and light sources (typically via scene surfaces) to estimate the color of each pixel. Video and screenshots after the break.

This is a stochastic process, which causes the noise in the images. Although more samples would reduce the noise, path tracing is rather compute-intensive. Brigade runs on one or more GPUs to provide sufficient processing power.

The scenes in the game show some typical characteristics of path traced rendering. Obviously there is the noise, but this is more severe in poorly lit rooms, and rooms with complex glass materials.

Boots up with some errors and then opens a new window that blackscreens/does not respond.

This happens for both demos.

Hilbert, itsn“t a problem about compute capability. I have the same problem that Hopeful, and I have a graphic card with the required compute capabilities.

About the ZIP archive of the download link, you said about it:

"This release comes with three demos (including source code), and includes a 64-bit build of the engine, which allows for larger scenes and textures."

In the ZIP archive, it has only two folders with programs (???).

Something is wrong with the linked archive in guru3d, Hilbert.

Both demo's do not run. I get a black window and nothing more.
