Is This The ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 Ti ROG STRIX ?
Right, well we're only a day away from the weekend so what the heck. A photo is doing rounds on ye ol' mighty interwebs of what has been tagged a ROG STRIX card, the interesting part is that is has a label on the checked 3080 Ti.
Now let me be the first to state that when you zoom in a bit on the photo, it just is a grainy and weird mess, that 3080 Ti really looks to be photoshopped in there. Then again, what do I know? So this ROG STRIX branded card has a 3080 Ti label, and the slide in Chinese characters states “next-generation ROG STRIX”.
You never know if this has been an internal briefing somewhere and somebody leaked a photo. It's a STRIX alright, with that triple-fan design though revamped in looks. Rumors, rumors.... and then some.

Is this the GeForce RTX 3080? (updated with inside heatsink photo) - 06/10/2020 12:10 PM
Check it out, these could be the first pictures of a reference NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, that would be an "Ampere" graphics card. And it has a unique and different design alright. ...

Arguably the best GeForce RTX 2080 Ti we have tested is the DUKE from MSI, in this review we'll take it through our testing paces to see how the card holds up against the other cards in the deck. Rea...

I thought Nvidia had dropped the 'Ti' non clementure in favour of 'Super'. Seems odd they would go back to it.
Also aren't the 'Tis' and 'Supers' meant to be revision models that they release a few months down the line once they work out various binning and quality issues and find just how far they can push the new chips. Seems odd that the Ti / Super images would be doing the rounds before the base models have even been spotted.
nope , actually Nvidia had not dropped the Ti , as 2080 Ti is the high end chip and it s better than 2080s.
but perhaps it will change with Ampere and we ll have a 3090 instead of 3080 Ti etc etc..

Who knows. Give these 6 months. You'll have a 3070 RTX TI SE OC LE

I think it’s legit they’re close to launching why wouldn’t they be designing and testing coolers.
