IO DATA announced their  Wi-Fi 6 repeater "WN-DAX1800EXP" that uses  360 Connect technology. The Wi-Fi repeater can extend the radio wave range of a wireless LAN router. The wireless LAN standard supports Wi-Fi 6 and IEEE 802.11a / b / g / n / ac. Furthermore, it is possible to link with wireless LAN routers made by other companies.

The antenna uses IO DATA's original "360 Connect" technology, which is optimized to emit radio waves in all directions, up and down, left and right, and 360 ° depth. Also, since the connection with the base unit is completed just by pressing the WPS button, even beginners can easily handle it. The main design is directly attached to the outlet regardless of the installation space, and the plug position has been adjusted so as not to block the upper outlet. In addition, the main unit is equipped with a wired LAN port, which can also be operated as a wired-wireless converter.

The frequency band supports both 2.4GHz / 5GHz. The maximum transfer speed is 574 Mbps and 1,201 Mbps, respectively, the antenna supports built-in antenna x2, and the security supports WPA2-PSK (AES), WPA3-SAE, WPA3-SAE Transition.

The external dimensions are width 93 mm, depth 54 mm, height 137 mm, and weight about 320 g. The recommended number of wireless LAN connections is 20, and the recommended number of simultaneous slave units is up to 2. It's priced 60 EUR/USD.
