Thermalright unveiled their latest M.2 SSD cooling solution, the HR-10 2280 PRO. This innovative heatsink bears a resemblance to previous models, but with a notable upgrade that sets it apart from the rest. The key difference lies in the inclusion of a 30mm 12V cooling PWM fan nestled within the fin stack, providing superior thermal performance compared to the passively cooled predecessors.

The HR-10 PRO is designed to cater to the upcoming generation of SSDs, boasting a restructured design tailored to meet Gen 5 solid-state drive specifications. It features an assembly of four 5mm-thick nickel-plated copper heatpipes, which make contact with the user-designated M.2-2280 SSD above a reflective nickel-plated copper base plate. The heatpipes run through a compact aluminum fin-stack with expertly crafted slats, ensuring maximum surface area for optimal heat dissipation. Topping off the package is a die-cast metal plate adorned with the company logo.

With a weight of 95g, the HR-10 PRO is 10g heavier than the standard HR-10 model and has dimensions of 23.7 mm x 90.3 mm x 43.8 mm (WxDxH). Thermalright has yet to announce any details about the pricing or availability of this cutting-edge M.2 SSD cooler at the time of writing.
