Intel has expanded its 13th Gen Core "Raptor Lake" client processor family to cater to the commercial segment. These processors come with built-in device security and remote management features, allowing large businesses and enterprises to enforce company policies regardless of where employees take their devices.

The new 13th Gen Core vPro lineup covers various device form factors, including ultraportables, thin-and-light commercial notebooks, mainstream commercial notebooks, and commercial desktops.

Based on the same "Raptor Lake" silicon as mainstream-client 13th Gen Core processors, the 13th Gen vPro series offers endpoint remote manageability for administrators through an enhanced vPro Management Engine that interacts with a compatible operating system. The lineup includes processors with vPro and vPro Essentials feature sets, offering up to 8 "Raptor Cove" performance cores and up to 16 "Gracemont" efficiency cores, depending on the form factor. The processors support the latest platform I/O, including DDR5 or LPDDR5 memory standards and PCI-Express Gen 5.

Intel Threat Detection and CET technologies accelerate various endpoint security solutions. Additionally, the Q700-series chipsets specific to the form-factor offer Intel Boot Guard and BIOS Guard for a more secured and enforced method of booting Windows, along with a new WiFi 6E (Gig+) WLAN chipset with vPro features.

The most sought-after feature of the 13th Gen Core vPro processors is still the Intel Active Management Technology (AMT), which allows administrators in large organizations to remotely manage commercial desktops and laptops handed out to employees for working from anywhere. Overall, the new 13th Gen Core vPro processors offer enhanced device security and remote management features, making them an ideal choice for large businesses and enterprises.
