Intel Six Core Mobile Core i9-8950HK, i7-8850H, i7-8750H Cinebench scores leaked
We've been hearing quite a lot about hexacore processors reaching laptops anytime soon, the most prominent proc mentioned would be the Core i9 8950K, these and others now have been spotted, and that Core i9 8950K even seems have a single core turbo to 4.8 GHz.
The Core i9 8950K has been discussed a number of times already, it traces back to November when some earlier model got listed, it also was spotted in the Futuremark ORB, the difference this time is that it is listed in Geekbench 4.1.3 and measured with Cinebench 15, and that means some data can be read out. The Core i9 8950K (again an unlocked laptop processor) reached a multithreaded score of 20007, with a single core score at 5607 points, not bad really. The database is listing the processor at a 2.9 GHz base clock with a boost up to 4.8 GHz.
An Asia based website listed the i9-8950HK with a score of 204 single-core in Cinebench R15. That is current Coffee Lake level performance, multi-thread performance was lower than 8850H and 8750H. Likely a TDP limitation. There will be three six-core models 8950HK, 8850H and 8750H. Intel would also be introducing a 8400H and 8300H with four cores and 8-threads, as videocardz reported today, the below table is also courtesy to him, the leak is courtesy of Wobenben.

45 Watt itself on CPU/APU is not problem. Problem is when they pair it with similarly power hungry GPU. Then you give each one blower and has to be thicker and bigger.
But one 45W chip alone can be cooled by 2 thinner and smaller blowers.

All are 45+ TDP parts these are going to be some bricks you have to carry around, more like desktop replacements than a laptop.
