Intel Shows Xe-HPG DG2 512EU based GPU

Intel Shows Xe-HPG DG2 512EU based GPU

On social media, Intel is showing a photo of a DG2 GPU with 512 Execution Unit, which would be the flagship 4096 Shader core version GPU.

Once again, it was Koduri who posted a photo, and of course, his reflection had to be in there; let's hope the hype he creates is real. As you can observe in the photo, the chip is tagged as DG2-512, which indicates the 512 Execution Units (4096 shading cores). That would be the prime GPU to be paired with up to 16GB of GDDR6 memory. Koduri further mentions:

Xe-HPG (DG2) real candy - very productive time at the Folsom lab couple of weeks ago. “From jittery journeys to buttery smooth” said @rogerdchandler - lots of game and driver optimization work ahead for @gfxlisa ’s software team. They are all very excited..and a little scared:)

In the future, you can expect several spinoffs based on DG2, including a 512EU, 384EU, and 128EU model. The 512EU is expected to be employed for both discrete desktop and mobile solutions.

I'm definetly not anti woman in this field, a good example is Lisa Su, but why would they put a woman as the software team's leader which is responsable with GAME OPTIMISATIONS. I mean, she seems to be a business woman, not a engineer or software developer who seems to know actually anything about games.

Yeah man, we all know that tru PRO GAMERZ use their penis as an input device, as it offers optimal reaction times.

Come on man, first off all girls are playing games also, to be a team leader for a driver team you don't need to be a "gamer" you need to be a good leader and to know which are your objectives, I'm pretty sure Lisa su don't have a full of RGB office to play csgo all day so she can know how to lead AMD, is time to leave those stereotypes behind

Leading up the charge on the driver and software side of the equation is Intel’s Lisa Pearce.
Lisa is a 23 year veteran of Intel
, consistently involved in Intel’s driver application and optimization, collaboration with independent software vendors, and Lisa now stands as the
Director and VP of Intel’s Architecture, Graphics and Software Group, and Director of Visual Technologies.
Everything
under that bucket of Intel’s Graphics strategy as it pertains to drivers and software, all the way from integrated graphics through gaming and enterprise into high-performance,
is in Lisa’s control.

pfffft... like she knows anything about graphics

LOL

If you aren't against women then why mention it at all and simply ask why Intel put a MBA business type over the game optimizations team?
