The short version of this news item would be slightly faster than a GeForce RTX 3060. Intel released some details about its forthcoming Arc A750 graphics card. The device being shown is the Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition graphics card.

What is known is that the card will outperform an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 card at 1440p in five titles for which Intel provided performance estimates and average frame rates. The GeForce RTX 3060 is a graphics card series that was released in Feb 2021. The midrange Arc GPU A750 is ~13% quicker than the Nvidia card in five games at 1440p resolution and high settings. The advantage of the Intel CPU ranges from 6 percent (Fortnite) to 17 percent (F1 2021).

Although no particular specs are given, the card utilizes 28 Xe cores (448 EUs) and 8 GB gddr6 with a 256-bit memory interface. The peak power usage is expected to be 225 watts.  F1 2021, Cyberpunk 2077, Control, Borderlands 3, and Fortnite are the five games. The only game whose real performance is presented in the video is Cyberpunk 2077. Intel's Ryan Shrout discusses game settings and frame rates. The Arc A750 achieves 60.79 FPS at 2560 x 1440 on high settings, with a minimum of 50.54 FPS and a maximum of 77.92 FPS. According to Intel, this is 1.17 times faster than an EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 XC Gaming 12G.

The business provided average frame rates for all of the other games evaluated, rather than simply how much quicker the Intel card was. A Corsair MP600 Pro XT 4 TB NVMe SSD, 32 GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 RAM, a Core i9-12900K CPU and ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Hero board were the basis with Windows 11 Pro for the test system.

The first Alchemist cards are anticipated to be released this summer, with no word on how much they will cost. In any event, given the usage of the phrase Limited Edition, it seems that Intel will not be releasing a large number of reference designs.
